FRSC IMO SECTOR COMMANDER VISITS IIRS

The Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC) Imo state Sector Commander paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS) Mr. Justice Remijus Okoye on Tuesday, 20th August 2024.

The FRSC Sector Commander, Mr Anthony O. Uga, accompanied by some high ranking officers of the corps were received by the IIRS Chairman and his team.

The IIRS Chairman welcomed the FRSC team while reiterating the role of the Corps in revenue generation. He highlighted some issues encountered in the processing of driver’s license while soliciting for assistance from the FRSC, Imo command to tackle these issues.

In his remark, the Commander congratulated the IIRS Chairman on his re-appointment and commended him on a job well done since his return.
He stated that the issues raised are being addressed and would soon be a thing of the past and added that more meetings will be held to ensure smooth operations. He assured the IIRS Chairman that he and his team would provide the necessary assistance to guarantee seamless processing of driver’s license in Imo State.

The IIRS Chairman thanked them for their visit and added that the Service will collaborate with relevant agencies and stakeholders to ensure an increase in the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of Imo State.
