Following the sealing exercise carried out on Wednesday, 14th August 2024 by the Debt Management and Enforcement Department of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), five hotels have been unsealed after payments were made into the Imo Treasury Single Account (IMTSA). The hotels are:
– Benconn hotel,
– Lavianto Hotel
– Hotel Arizona
– Hotel Ibis Royale
– Titanic Views Hotels
The IIRS maintains its commitment to ensuring full compliance by taxpayers in accordance with extant tax laws and urges all taxpayers to remit their taxes as at when due, to avoid sanctions which include sealing off their premises and prosecution.
