The Chairman of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS) recently received a delegation from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) on a courtesy visit to the Service’s headquarters.
The IIRS Chairman warmly welcomed the FIRS team and expressed appreciation for their visit. Speaking on behalf of the FIRS, Mrs. Iwunze acknowledged the continued cooperation between the IIRS and FIRS, commending the IIRS Chairman for his support and commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration.
She further emphasized the importance of meeting revenue targets and maintaining strong institutional relationships to enhance tax administration and national development.
In response, the IIRS Chairman assured the FIRS team of his unwavering support and pledged that the synergy between both agencies would be sustained. He noted that as long as he remains in office, the Federal Inland Revenue Service can count on the full cooperation and support of the IIRS.
The visit concluded with renewed commitments to partnership and enhanced collaboration in achieving mutual goals.
