The Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS) today, February 27th, held a training session for some Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) on the newly deployed Revenue Management System (RMS). The training aimed to enhance the capacity of MDAs in utilising the system for effective revenue assessment, collection, and management.
The participating MDAs included:
• Ministry of Lands
• Ministry of Justice
• Ministry of Agriculture & Food Security
• Ministry of Rural Development
• Ministry of Industry, Mines and Solid Minerals
The RMS is designed to streamline revenue processes, providing a centralized platform for MDAs to efficiently access, collect, and capture revenue transactions, ensuring transparency, convenience, and compliance.
This initiative aligns with the Imo State Governments’ commitment to automate revenue administration, promote accountability, and enhance Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in Imo State.
