The new Chairman of Internal Revenue, Mr Justice Okoye has been commended by a cross
section of Imo people especially those that have one operation to carry out at the Service or the other for what they described as his
innovative ideas that have brought about seamless and easy tax operation at the board.
Those interviewed by our correspondent confirmed that tax
operations now last less than an hour and everything is done and printed out for collection.
They said that this is at variance with the hitherto operation where the operation at the Tax office was opaque and slow adding that Mr Okoye deserves to be commended
and encouraged.
