The proposed new structure for the Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS) is a reflection of the remarkable growth and transformation recorded within the Service under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, whose administration has consistently prioritized innovation, institutional reforms, and economic expansion, the Imo State Internal Revenue Service has witnessed unprecedented growth in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
Through purposeful leadership, strategic reforms, and a strong commitment to economic growth, Imo State has witnessed a significant boost in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), positioning the state on a stronger path of fiscal sustainability and development.
The reforms and digital transformation championed by the Executive Chairman of IIRS, Justice Remijus Okoye (FCA), have further strengthened revenue administration, improved efficiency, and expanded the revenue base of the state.
