The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Owerri District, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), Mr. Justice Remigus Okoye FCA.
During the visit, the delegation appreciated the Chairman for his continuous support and encouragement over the years and presented a letter of appreciation in recognition of his contributions to the district and the institute at large. The incoming Chairman of the Owerri District also pledged to work closely with the IIRS in promoting professionalism, collaboration, and institutional growth during her tenure.
Members of the delegation further commended Mr. Okoye for his positive impact on the district and the national body of ICAN.
Mr. Okoye also encouraged the institute to continue championing professionalism, integrity, and excellence within the accounting profession, while reaffirming the Service’s commitment to sustained collaboration with ICAN towards the development of Imo State.
