IIRS CHAIRMAN ADDRESSES SABER GATHERING ON GATHERING ON REVENUE REFORM

The Executive Chairman of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), Justice Okoye (FCA), featured prominently as a distinguished speaker at the recently concluded State Action on Business Enabling Reforms (SABER) conference.
In his Management System (RMS) by the Imo State Government. He emphasized that the RMS has become a permanent feature of the state’s revenue administration framework, reinforcing the government’s commitment to efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
He noted that the RMS has streamlined processes such as tax assessments, collections, and documentation, reducing human interference, curbing revenue leakages, and improving the ease of doing business within the state.
Justice Okoye reiterated the IIRS’s dedication to supporting ongoing reforms aimed at creating a more enabling environment for businesses to thrive in Imo State.
This engagement aligns with the broader objective of the Imo State Government to digitize governance, enhance service delivery, and boost internally generated revenue (IGR) through innovative solutions.
