To enhance transparency and optimization in Imo State’s revenue generation, the Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS) organized an intensive practical training session for Staff of the Ministry of Trade, Commerce, and Investment, as well as the Ministry of Transportation.
The training, held at the State Secretariat, on the 12th of February 2025 aimed to educate them on the practical use of the new Revenue Management System (RMS), which includes generating Assessment Notices daily E-ticketing and market tolls/levies.
During the session, Compumetrics Solutions Limited, facilitators of the training, reassured participants that the new RMS will ensure greater visibility and transparency in the ministries revenue generating processes which will lead to increase in the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
